Suspicious

Today, the boys and I went to the playground around 10 minutes from our house with riding our bikes. I like to bring the boys play in this playground because there are more bigger than the playground near our house.

There were a old couple approch me and asked if I came from Indonesia. His wife came from Indonesia too. They looks untrustworthy but I don't want to offend them by not talking with them. I tried to keep nice but still I was little bit afraid that's why my eyes are keep watching the boys while they were playing. Their appearance were little bit scary too.

What made me more suspicion when....

Old man: You have a beautiful black hair but why you always cover them with hat?
Me: Yes, you right. I like wearing a hat. (How he knows that I like to wearing a hat?? That's mean he ever saw me few times. Meanwhile I never saw them or maybe I didn't pay attention.)

That's why I was suspicious. Or maybe I was wrong. Maybe they were just really a nice couple. Maybe it is just me that I don't easy to trust people. Do you easy to trust the stranger?

The woman tried to give candies to Jason but I told that Jason doesn't eat this kind of candies. I just took it and put it on my pocket. But when I was home, I throw it away. I told Jason that never ever take a candy or other kind food from stranger especially when me or my hubby not around him. Do you eat something that stranger give to you?

What a day isn't it! For sure, I will not bring the boys play that playground for awhile.

That is scary, I would feel the same way as you did.

Being from another country, maybe they were just very curious about an american family and were trying to be friendly. It's okay to be a little on guard.

Well, better be safe than sorry, I suppose, especially when you're with small children. :-) Take care and hope you'll always all be safe.
