Walking at Queen's Day

Every year at 30 April, we celebrate Queen's Day. This year, we went to see free market not far from our neighborhood. We only have to walk around 5 minutes from our house. At the same time, we also celebrate 100th year our village. That's why, it was so busy that day. Many people walking at free market (they were selling secondhand things with cheap price).

I bought 1 bus toy for Jason. New price is 10 euro but in there I paid 1 euro hi hi hi hi...

There was a band as well.

I love all of these photos! I really like the last one with the orange balloons. I've always wanted to attend one of these celebrations but haven't had the money to travel yet. Maybe one day. So...I'll live through your photos.

I played along too...come on over!

Luckily, your village was able to celebrate. Terribly tragic events, elsewhere!

Our Tulip Festival starts this weekend, marking Canada's link to the Dutch Royal Family. As you know, Princess Margriet was born, here in Ottawa during their exile during the war.

Every year in commemoration, we receive the gift of a million tulips sent from Holland/ They are out in time, this year. I hope to get some photos this week to share.
