Seems there's quite a bit of mooning going on around SWF this week.
I'm making my SWF debut this week with First Quarter. Hope you enjoy it!
PS: Imelda, you can't rely on the camera to set your exposure on a moon shot. It'll use too much of either aperture or shutter speed and the result is that "glare ball": you spoke of. Set the camera to manual, and then stop it down gradually until you get a sharp image. I left my aperture at f2.8, and then dialed in shutter speed a bit at a time until I got what I wanted. I think the shot I finally chose was at 1/180 sec at f2.8.
