What a day......

We went to Hoofddorp last Friday to take my new ID card. From our city, it took around 1,5 hours with the train (2 times changes train). And this is my story :

1. The taxi pick up us at 7.00 am sharp!! Remember, there were NO bus. That's why we booked for taxi (my first trip went with taxi since I live in here for almost 4 years hi hi hi hi....)

2. Because they were something happened with the railroad, there was only 1 track :(( So, there was a traffic jam on the railroad :D

3. When we were arrived at Hoofddorp, it took only 5 minutes to got my new ID card. Oh boy.... I was SO irritated with them. Why didn't they just send my new ID card via post. So, we didn't have to travel so far only for that. It was cost money and also time.

During we waited for our train back to our city, we were walking around and I made few photos.

4. We didn't go back direct to our city. We stopped in Alkmaar to go to Indonesia's winkel. But we didn't too long stay in Alkmaar, because the weather was SO hot. We decided to go back soon.

During we walked back to the train station, my hubby tried to reserve another taxi to go back from train station in our city back to our house. Suddenly, the customer service from that taxi company said it was not allowed to bring buggy into the taxi. Wow.... Strange. When the taxi pick up us in the morning, it was ok that we brought Jason's buggy. So...we were decided not to take the taxi but we called Jeanne to pick up us in the station and brought us back to our house. We paid back for the benzine.

5. We run and run to the train in Alkmaar. I was carrying the groceries and my hubby pushed Jason's buggy. Jason was laugh, he thought it was fun hi hi hi hi.... I was so tired and tried to run very fast, because we already seen the train was already standby in the station. If we were missed this train, we had to wait another 30 minutes.

The door from the train was close around 1 minutes after we entered the train. Wow....if we too late for 1 minute we had to wait for another half hour :D

6. It was so relief to see Jeanne was pick up us. Thank you, Jeanne.

That's it, my story of our trip to Hoofddorp. What a tiring day ^__^ I will post the photos on Monday.

Wow..that's one story. I got tired reading your story....Hehe...

At least you have your ID card already. I also don't understand why they didn't just send it via postal mail. I usually do my renewals here [passport and green card] via postal mail so we don't need to travel anymore.

Hope you're having a relaxing weekend after that run around you did.

So you had to go that far to get your ID card? I wonder why they didn't mail it. Here in Finland when I first registered myself at the City Hall and stuff, they sent me the ID card to my home address.
