My aunt is a nurse

I have an aunt who works in the hospital in Amsterdam. She is a nurse at the children's department. She got medical training when she was at college but she specialized in helping children who have to get an operation or need medical care. :D. When People work in a hospital or a Doctor's practise, they need their training updated regularly.

When we need information about medication or even children's surgery, she can help us. She gave us much information when Jason was only 4 months old and had to go through an operation. It was very scary for us to see Jason being brought through de doors that led to the operation room. He was just 4 months old and had to get a surgery. If i remember those moments I still feel really sad .

Thanks to the explanation my aunt gave about that specific operation, our worries got a lot less . "Because it was only a small operation and it wouldn't leave any mark at the place where the surgery had to be done". That was what she told us. And she it was right. Now, i can not see any mark :D

It is so helpful when we know someone who knows much about medical work and medications. Also, when we get prescriptions for medication and we feel we we're not too well informed or we didn't understand the explanations, we can always call my aunt and ask about it.
